Biography
Why had he agreed to do this?
This thought ran through Eren’s mind as the wind bolstered his flight, sweeping him closer to the great vortex.
There was no question that he couldn’t do it, after all he was the best flier out of all of his siblings. A scene flashed through his mind.
His brothers and sisters were soaring up the Reedcleft Ascent in a race to practice their skills. Eren was already ahead by what seemed like miles. When he turned back to gloat at his siblings, one of his brothers had clipped a mighty reed and tumbling down to the steep river below. From his vantage point, Eren could clearly see that his brother’s wing had been badly torn.
Rather than watch him tumble to certain death, Eren dove to catch him. When they returned day, his prowess was recognized and praised by his parents. Though he wasn’t a spiral like his siblings, he was a more than capable flier.
Eren smiled at the memory, before frowning at the sour sentiments that followed.
The evening after the rescue, there came a burst of jealousy from his brother.
“You don’t have to- REVEL in your ALL POWERFUL FLAPPING SKILLS,” The spiral spat, angry. He wasn’t the most mature of dragons.
“But I’m the best,” Eren stated simply. There was no gloating tone in his words, but it flashed in his eyes.
“Then go survive THAT.” Then spiral pointed out of the window of their home, across the Zephyr Steppes, below the cloudsong to...
The Twisting Crescendo.
Eren’s brother smirked as he hissed. “I dare you.”
One can guess what Eren’s reply was. Of course he would. He was the best.
Now that he was flying directly toward the maelstrom, however, catching the first on the tumultuous currents in his wings...he was having second thoughts.

“Sit over there!!” She squeaked, with an amusingly concerned tone of voice. Then again, he could barely think...
