B I O G R A P H Y

Fogged breaths, chill mists, and crunching leaves means you're nearing Eskali's solitary domain; and should turn back should you wish to leave unscathed. When you begin to see frost on the fern leaves and icicles on the brambles, run, for she is close. Named after the stars that dot her obsidian scales, this dragon is no guiding light in the dark Forests. She is not merciful towards trespassers in the Tangled woods, and once someone or something is within reach, she will seize it in her freezing jaws and plunge into the deep waters with it, now forever hers.

Many have bargained for their lives. Some were successful, others not. Her tastes and desires vary as the moon wanes; though one thing that she will always appreciate above all else are crystals. For the shiny trinkets do not decay in her underwater vaults, and glitter beautifully among the pale bones in the faint light that manages to filter down.

Serenity she listens to respectfully, as with Elzranth; for it is on their lands that she was welcomed to. With Taeriva, who chose to nest near her domain, she tolerates. No one can win against nesting dragons, least of all one who is more immersed in the ice than she is. They exchange tales and glittering baubles occasionally. Rarely, she has been allowed to glimpse the other dragon polishing her permanently-frozen pearl.

I M P R E S S I O N S

Elzranth: He is... one of the few who has bested me in strength. And yet despite being guilty of trespassing, I was instead allowed to remain in my domain, in exchange for watching the clan's borders. It is a fair trade. The one he has chosen to follow, is also one worthy of her title as Leader. They, however, rarely ever make the trip this far South, so I rarely ever glimpse them.

Taeriva: She is as cold as the icy lands of her birth. In her heart and her very soul... Many call her foolish for choosing to nest at the fringes of the territory, but I at least find her presence useful in alleviating the tedium of the night. She too is fond of crystals, that one. The stories she tells, are of far lands, even further South from my homelands. And those stories, hint of a darker and far more dangerous cold than either of us have bore witness to.

Agim: His fondness of the small, growing things have no place in my domain. Here is where all life struggles to emerge victorious and survive. The cold of my breath... will surely cause it all to wither away before much time has passed. He ventured to my domain once, and it was nearly for naught, for much of what he encouraged to grow long since turned to brittle ice. It is perhaps better he stays away. The further the better.

History:
Eskali never chose to leave her original home. She never chose to be born on the Northernmost coast of the Frigid Floes. She never chose to let this unnatural ice creep up on her wings and scales. Her parents did cherish her, that much she remembered, for it was they who gave her the name 'Eskali'. Yet here she was now, she had long since accepted her life to be so. At least here, her life was as good as she could possibly wish it to be; a watery domain she could call her own, no one seeking to plunder and steal her treasures, no one seeking to forcibly evict her, and while the company of dragons is not something she is used to, she is slowly learning to accept and perhaps even welcome it.
