Mistress of the Surf

As Kiaré leads the Gatherers in the Harvest, Ysadore oversees the Fisherwyrms that ply the river and coast of Val-ar-Aion. She counts the catch and manages the careful husbandry of shellfish and fishspawn, maintaining the delicate balance of the region's water fauna. When the pearlcatcher is not inspecting the quality of the latest pearls or reprimanding a careless fisher for culling valuable breedingstock, she can be seen wading chest-deep in the surf, sea-silk billowing around her, a basket of shellfish on either flank as she sifts the sand for cockles. It is an oft-neglected law within Val-ar-Aion that any treasure or ambergris that washes up on the shore must be approved by the Good Lady of the Waves before it can be traded at market. zzzzzzzzzzzz
