Biography
It is an unfortunate fact of political distress and war that those that least deserve to die are the ones to be targeted first. Karma is the one sent on the cases of these unfortunate souls - her compassion for the young in particular lulls them into a peaceful daze so that their suffering is brief, if experienced at all. After all, it is not the job of Karma's guild to question why one of their clients would wish death upon a hatchling, or a dragon so old that nature could easily do the job for them. And if they didn't take the job, then some hack-job would, giving the real professionals a bad name. But that doesn't mean that they have to suffer under the guild's practices, either. There's a reason that clients get very little input into how their desired targets are disposed of, after all - mainly to prevent them from requesting ineffective, soft means of assassination, but also to avoid more...gruesome treatment. Many a detested politician's nest of chirruping hatchlings have had Karma be their last vision. Her preferred method is to bundle them to her chest and feed them a warm bottle of a sleeping concoction that they will never rise from.
