Sookie

A soft, well-mannered baby who loves snacking on sweets and sleeping. She expends any energy she has in her waking hours by chasing her tail or any other ball of fuzz (like her own shed hair) that passes by.

As sweet and well-behaved as she is at home, it's all over when her playmate arrives. Fernweh, who lives nearby in a more woody and wild area (trailer park next to a mansion vibes), will stomp up to Sookie at any opportunity and drag her friend out to commit mischief. Sookie's favorite way to get into trouble is to stomp in muddy, slushy puddles of snowmelt, which has lead to a permanent brown color in her coat.

For all her puppy eyes and "yes pleases" and "thank yous" at home, Sookie is every bit as much of a boundless mudpuppy and Fernweh, who Sookie's parents always dread visits from. However, the two hatchlings get along better than if they were sisters; they are clearly each others' absolute best friends.
