Unsung has lived a humble life in Clan Mavenlark since her hatching. Too withdrawn for the passionate socialite life her mother Veneration entertained and too nervous for the physical demand of soldiering like her second mother Tempest, Unsung quietly joined Clan Mavenlark's guard as a scryer and magician. With jobs ranging from the menial - constantly performing upkeep on the spells her clan put in place for the protection of their territory, telling parents what their potential hatchlings may look like come their birth - to the mentally demanding - unraveling mysterious bugs and glitches in clan wide spells, translating ancient manuscripts - Unsung enjoyed her work, nothing feeling too out of her league. But she can't help but feel that doing that is getting a bit...boring. No challenge, no mystery. When her mother Tempest took to the road on a journey of self-discovery, stepping down from her position as head of Clan Mavenlark's defense, Unsung decided to follow in her footsteps. Will what she find out there challenge her views of the world? Better yet, will they challenge herself?
