Chinatsu - Japanese for a thousand summers

Met Auriel and fell in love over time.
Had two hatchlings Mayumi and Hibiki.
Inventor and clan leader.
Devastated with the death of her lifemate.

Bio - From the time she was a hatchling Chinatsu instinctively knew she was different. Instead of looking for dragon companionship she found that she enjoyed building and spend time with her mother’s friend and clan elder Amhlaidh.

Solitude, following Chinatsu like a plague, surrounded her for much of her youth and adult years. She made no effort to find a mate or to have any children. Her mother, Moriko, felt like Chinatsu was denying part of herself; she just couldn’t place her finger on it.

Then one day, she saw the dragoness Auriel and she felt the urge that most dragon’s only talked about in secret. She felt the urge to spend the rest of her life with the fair ridgeback. it took her many days but eventually she managed to work her her courage and she asked the ridgeback dragoness to be hers.

She never expected the answer she got but she was not complaining! Auriel agreed and they spent many loving and delightful days together. They raised four children together Nuada, Berut, Mayumi, and Hibiki and three of them went into service to the various deities of the world. During the time of the Rockerbreaker’s Celebration Auriel finally succumb to a sickness that had plagued her since her youth.

After Auriel passed away Chinatsu was devastated and threw herself into the work of the Clan. Her mother, who had always worried about who would take over when she retired, felt very conflicted. Should she be thankful for the fact Chinatsu was finally dedicated to the clan...at the expense of her daughter's happiness and the love of her life? Moriko has only voiced these concerns to her husband of many years - Hayashi.
