While Thymari owns the Tea Shop located in the clan, Bergamot is the dragon tasked with the responsibility of ensuring everything is running smoothly from day to day. He’s the loud, outspoken individual who makes conversation with his patrons while blending varieties of tea to perfectly suit each dragon’s tastes, whether they prefer the same drink every day or want to constantly be trying something new.

Like many of his patrons, he has a taste for the finer things, and not just expensive varieties of tea. He takes great pride in his appearance and allots part of his salary to dressing himself in nice silks. No matter how busy the shop is, he is perfectly presentable, preening his feathers to a raven-bright shine. Despite this, he has no qualms with getting his paws dirty cleaning up at the end of the night.

Thymari has suggested hiring on a helper, but Bergamot prefers to run things largely by himself. He’s a rather persnickety dragon who requires everything to be in its place, resulting in him working long hours.

Even with a self-proclaimed affinity for teas, Bergamot is quite the coffee addict. He’s not naturally a morning dragon by any means and needs a strong dose of caffeine to get his day started.

  H I S T O R Y
Bergamot’s father was the one who instilled him with his passion for teas. However, while his father Earl prefers the more traditional varieties, Bergamot has always been drawn to the far more eccentric, experimental brews. When he came of age, he set out with a bit of coin and his father’s blessing to find a tea shop that would give him the creative freedom he was craving.

Though it has been quite a few years since he settled down at Thymari's tea shop, he stays in touch with his father. They are semi-frequent visitors at each other’s establishments -- even if their respective brews aren’t quite to the other’s liking.

Over time, Bergamot has helped to expand Thymari's shop into a warm little cafe that sells pastries from the clan’s baker. It’s a perfect stop for travellers or even his fellow clanmates who like to meet up and chat with friends. He spends his occasional days off with Joey, relaxing in her salon and swapping the harmless gossip they pick up in their lines of work.
