It is a typical day in the Ashfall Waste. Clan Howdoilnternet is going about its daily tasks, until a fast-flying courier dragon comes swooping in. “I have a package from Dragonhome for Anthea, Clan Leader.” The sentry quickly leads him to Anthea who takes the package wrapped in a red linen fabric scrap and the attached scroll. The courier salutes her with a jaunty claw wave from his brow and a smile as he takes off with his courier bag slung over his shoulder. Anthea recognizes the handwriting and eagerly opens the package nopticing a weird purple set of stones. She then unrolls the scroll and begins to read:

This will be just a quick note. Ashitaka and I arrived safely at Clan Medievalredragon’s lair and we are both healthy and well. We are still trying to settle in.

I must say you were right, it is a bit of a strange place. The geography of this place is very desolate and dry and hot. For this reason, most of the clan members have their personal lairs tunneled into the mountain. I have my own personal lair. They have kindly provided me with some basic furnishings but it is not very homey yet. I will rely on you to send me some things to remind me of home. :)

All the personal lairs have balconies overlooking a large atrium area which is open to the sky and provides daylight. They have some great engineers here because they can close off the Atrium if there is an attack. Some personal lairs also open to the outside but my lair does not.

There are some outdoor grazing lands -- mostly for hardy sheep, goats and scrawny poultry. There are a few outdoor food and herb gardens, but they tend to be quite small and nothing like the fertile gardens of home. I can’t tell if this is because it is a relatively new clan, lack of gardening knowledge or the local ecology -- but their gardens are pitiful. Mostly they seem to grow stuff in hydroponic gardens below ground. They light these, their underground tunnels/caverns and personal lairs with huge bundles of this glowing stone called Kunzite. I am confused as to whether they import it or just mine it themselves, but in any case it is the main source of light since they do not want to use fire in the underground tunnels for safety reasons.

The food the clan eats here is a little weird. They actually use fire to “cook” some of it and spice it according to “historical” sources they found from a place called “Dirt” (or maybe not historical and it is from that fictional series of books on which they base their whole clan culture) I am unclear on this. In any case, the “cooked” food here is either way too spicy, way too bland or burnt. They even do weird things to cookies and cakes! So please forgive me for not sending to you any local food or “recipes” (kind of like an alchemical recipe but for food) .

What I am sending to you is some Kunzite. It is really pretty when you group a few together. If you blow on it with a small amount of flame, it will capture the flame and provide a soft warm glow for a long while. I thought that when you light it, you could think of Ashitaka and me sitting in its glow thinking of you and home.

I have to get back to work -- there is a lot to do here since it is a new clan. I will tell Ashitaka to write to you separately. Take good care of yourself and Dad and write to me when you can.

Fire primal eye.
Midlle brother Ashitaka has fire multi-eye and youngest brother Asano has fire goat eye. They are not all from same hatch but have the same parents. She is the oldest. Adara came to serve as flight rep to get away from overbearing mother in Howdoilnternet's lair.


Lore is letter writing with mother who never wanted her to leave lair but if she had to then she must serve the Flamecaller.

Purchased 10/14/19 for 150G and some Baldwin materials with flame multieyes brother from Howdoilnternet.


Her mundane job is to light the Kunzite clusters in the public areas of the lair with her dragon fire breath. Her mother thinks she is the flight rep for fire.
