-She may be Lightning born, but she was raised in Arcane and has lived in her little town in the Starwood Strand her whole life. It's her true home as far as she cares. And the locals wouldn't consider it quite home either without her to come along with it. Her parents were tailors who trained her in the family business, which she very quickly showed an expert talent for that far exceeded her parents own, and before long she ended up taking over as the head tailor. As far as anyone's concerned, if you need a tailor you need to go to Vera. She'll fix you up right and proper. The SAR staff even had their uniforms personally made by her! Who else would be able to make uniforms that could withstand pretty much anything the world could throw at them? She does wish their orders were less demanding, but hey, they do pay very well.... and they tell many an interesting secret if she gets them talking she can sell to Callout later for a pretty penny.
-She's what some might call a "southern belle" just based off her manner. She's incredibly hospitable, does have a bit of a flirty side while staying polite, and presents as very prim and proper. Though she might be considered a bit out of character with the fact she is a hard working woman who puts a lot of effort into her career more-so than into caring about prospect of family, and how she is very fond of gossiping with anyone who will lend their ear or equally so lend a story to hear, and the fact she is NOT afraid to get confrontational and serious if someone pushes their luck. She can and she will fiercely protect herself and her friends. Don't try it.
