Obsidian

Charming yet unnerving, Obsidian is one of those dragons which inspire more myths and falsehoods than true stories as soon as people learn of her name and rule. She is not cruel nor hateful- in fact, she is known to have a harem of loyal partners at her side which are certainly not forced to be there- yet many dragon clans that have heard about the necromancer immediately assume the worst. Its just the mark of her trade, I guess.

One of the most chilling aspects of Obsidian's lore is her unique and gruesome approach to necromancy. Unlike other practitioners who rely on external sources for their dark rituals, Obsidian draws upon her own physical form to fuel her magic; The very idea of a necromancer severing limbs or shedding blood willingly is enough to send shivers down the spines of those who dare speak her name. Some believe that these sacrifices grant her enhanced control over the forces of death, allowing her to summon and command the undead with unparalleled precision- others just shiver and say that all Obsidian is doing is racing towards an early grave. With choppy wings, no scales left on her tail whatsoever, and even the membranes of her head-fins gone, Obsidian is a sight to behold- and respect.

She adorns herself in soft furs and fabrics to hide her scarred body, years of using necromancy in her less-than-pleasant manner leaving her weakened after certain rituals, which then leads the Leader to need more rest than the average dragon just because of the immense strain that her powerful magicks have on her physique. Whether she is a cautionary tale or a looming threat, her existence serves as a chilling reminder that some individuals are willing to sacrifice everything, even their own bodies, to wield the darkest forces that lie beyond the veil of mortality
