  About.
Monarchy is a caring dragon, that seems to be hiding something. He helps looking after the hatchlings with Keeper, and can be found in the nature territory picking flower bouquets. He always brings the bouquets back to the lair, and puts them into Keepers room, tied with a pastel ribbon. Keeper does not know that he is the one bringing the beautiful bouquets, and Monarchy always tries to find more flowers to make bouquets with.

Monarchy is a very introverted dragon, who prefers to help others with their problems and listen to how they are feeling than talking about his own feelings. His chamber is filled with soft pillows, each stuffed with sweet puff down, a small garden filled with beautiful blooming flowers, a small hoard of gems that he seems to be saving for something, and a wicker basket, filled with soft fur and straw, with a pastel coloured pink ribbon wrapped around it in a bow, it seems as though it hasn’t been used, but it looks like he wants to keep it in perfect condition.

Origins.
”So you would like to know how I found this clan, traveller? Well, as you wish.” The gentle tundra lowers his left wing, and signals you to get on. You climb onto his back, and feel his soft fur brush against your skin. He raises his large, blue wings and leaps into the air. He flies up to his chamber, it is next to Keeper’s. He places you down onto the soft pillows, in the same way that she did, and he gives you a knitted blanket, but instead of hot cocoa he passes you a pastel blue tulip from his garden. He picks up a watering can and waters the variety of plants in the small garden, and then a speaks, in a voice as sweet as honey. “How I got here, that is a question I have not heard in a while. You must have been the first to ask since we found Keeper. If you really want to know, well, it went like this.”

“I was the youngest of a set of twins, the first set of twins to my mother. My father had seen it all before. Care for the egg, it hatches, the hatchlings are sent to war. He knew what was going to happen. I was the last to leave my clan. It was a clan of the wind element, and it was a very happy clan. There were a lot of other hatchlings to play with, but I preferred to stick to my gardening. My mother had gifted me a flower in a pot as a gift when I first hatched, and I would care for it every day. I would take that plant everywhere, I would even sleep with it. I would always watch the other hatchlings playing with a ball in the day, I would watch them from up on a hillside, sitting with the flower pot on my lap.”

“But, one day when I woke up, I saw another hatchling in front of me, holding my flower in the pot. Before I realised what they were doing, they ripped it from the pot and the clay piece of pottery shattered on the floor, then they ripped the pastel blue petals off the stem, one by one. I was devastated. That plant was my best friend, it had listened to me when no one else would, it had stayed by my side and it had relied on me, and I liked that. I liked that I looked after it. I liked that it needed me. But then it was gone. Ripped to shreds. I-I know it may not seem that big of a deal, but to that tiny, shy, lonely hatchling, that one plant meant the world.”

“I remember isolating myself from the outside world, and from my other clan mates because of that incident. I didn’t want to talk to anyone. All that I wanted to talk to was my plant. A few days later, I had started coming out of the chamber more, but I didn’t say anything about my feelings, I wouldn’t then, nor ever.”

“When I became an adult, I still would not talk about my feelings to anyone, not even my own parents. I fell asleep, but when I woke up, it wasn’t in my chamber. I remember being in a different room, with a single door. The door was slightly open, with a young girl next to it, closing the door quietly. They seemed as if they hadn’t meant to disturb me from my slumber, and I was grateful for that. I offered to fly her home, and she offered me a clan to call home. I accepted and she directed me here. I saw two other dragons outside, one a kind looking skydancer, with intricate patterns that looked like jewellery. He had a black cat resting on his head, and smiled at me. The other did not look as welcoming. They were an aggressive looking guardian, wearing birdskull jewellery and her bright pink eyes shone through the headdress. It looked as though she was staring right into my soul. I settled into the clan quite well, and the skydancer, who called himself Spectre, had been to the nearby village and had bought me some green and bronze apparel. I put them on and thanked him, but from then, things got better.”

“One day when I came home from the forest, Cane beckoned me toward one of the spare chambers, the one next to mine. I followed him inside to see a beautiful pearlcatcher, fast asleep in the room. I was stunned. I started growing flowers in my room, and I started making pillows with sweet puff down. I gave some to the pearlcatcher, I wanted to make sure they were happy. They had told me that they like the light, but because I have quite sensitive eyes because of an incident with a strangler in the forest, I had not left the lair since she had arrived, and my eyes would hurt in the sun. But I wanted to do anything it took to make them happy, so I found a way to create a light source inside that would not damage my eyes. Cane had come home with an old, rusted chest and he had let me look at what was inside. I found a blue lamp, and when I lit it, it emitted an amazing blue flame, and to my surprise, my eyes were not in pain from the light, but they could not look away from the spectacular sight. This was my way to make her notice me. I flew to the village at night, and bought as many of the lamps as I could, then I flew back to the lair with the fantastic gadgets. The next evening, I told the pearlcatcher to meet me on the roof of the lair, where Cane sometimes goes to stargaze, after sunset. When the sun had set, and darkness spread, I flew up to the roof, and I saw the beautiful dragon sitting there, looking up at the moon. I flew over to her, and told her that I found something that can stop the lair from going dark, but will stay dark enough for the others to sleep. She seemed astounded, so I lead her back into the lair, which was normally engulfed in darkness at this point, but I had lit the blue lanterns, so the chambers were filled with a dim blue glow. She seemed happy that it would not be completely dark, so every evening I would fly around the lair, lighting the lamps to make sure she would not be scared again.”

The kind tundra looked towards you, spread his wings and turned towards the entrance to his chamber. “Well it is nearly sunset, I should probably go and light the lamps now. I hope that you enjoy your stay here, young traveller. I shall see you again soon.” He leaps off the edge of the chamber to light the lamps, leaving you in his chamber. You see the same young girl as you saw in Keeper’s chamber, she is looking up at one of the walls. It is covered with pictures of Monarchy, all drawn by different dragons he has met. You marvel at the images, and after a while, Monarchy returns, and offers to fly you back to the main chamber. You accept, and when you land, he gives you a pillow, blanket, and one of his lanterns before flying back up to his chamber.
