Vortex changed his lair on the 10th of Flameforger's, 2016, shortly after he turned three years old. He brought nothing with him but immediately hooked up with Pother, who had heard several Antiques were joining the weyr. She immediately scooted over to Seiryu and, mentioning their long white bodies and shared green eyes, continued to chatter that she needed a dragon and perhaps he needed a familiar? The partnership was formed. The next day, he changed his name to Vortex, inspired by several Spirals who lived here who also had names beginning with the letter 'V'. Pother also arranged for a balloon for Vortex, who thought it fit his ambiance well.
