Biography

TUTEKT
wandering junk collector

Perpetually slimy, covered in parasitic growths, and apparently suffering from a permanent headcold, Tutekt's general state of being is repulsive and pitiable to many. The dragon himself, though, doesn't appear to notice. In fact, Tutekt generally lives in his own little world, oblivious to the opinions of society at large. He wanders Sornieth on foot, peering into all the world's forgotten little nooks and crannies, and occasionally he finds things. All kinds of things, ranging from useless junk to long-lost relics. It's all the same to him; it's not like he sells the stuff. He simply picks up the things "She" likes — "She" apparently referring to the large parasitic growth that hangs over his left shoulder — and gives them away when "She" gets bored of them.

It's not entirely clear why he's seen around Clan Lamprey so frequently. He showed up in the lair one day, completely uninvited and yet inexplicably difficult to remove, like mold in your plumbing. Maybe it's because some of the dragons and beastfolk here actually appreciate his gifts. Anyway, for all his quirks, he's a kind and friendly creature, and the clan became accustomed to his presence in time.

Unfortunately for the nomadic Tutekt, he was present for the clan lair's destruction and ended up swept up in the storm along with half its residents. Clanmember or not, he shares their fate. Being trapped on the Fretful Isle doesn't seem to have ruined his chipper mood completely, but there's a certain nervousness with which he wanders its misty cliffs. There are many mysteries to be uncovered here, yes, many new nooks and crannies to be explored, but what happens when they run out?

What is a wanderer to do when he is trapped in a gilded cage?
