Ghazir

[Ghazir works with Afiyat and Aokh occasionally to help uncover objects of archaeological value due to his interest in pottery and claywork, but his careless attitude towards the preservation of even the most priceless historical artifacts means that he is usually forced to find other ways to spend his time.

He is a clay sculptor by trade, but he has other hobbies, too - one of these is carving intricate designs into the walls of the clan lair, and the other is crafting potent and highly unstable explosives. Apparently he was a demolitionist when he was still under the employ of the Stormcatcher, but was eventually fired when he got a little too enthusiastic about blowing things up. Because of his dangerous habits, he's not allowed to sleep inside the lair, and instead makes his nest in a haphazard structure built straight on a cliff wall. The location of said nest changes every time he accidentally breaks it and has to start over. His pearl is, somehow, still fully intact, but usually so covered in soot that it resembles a loose cannonball more than anything a respectable Pearlcatcher would carry around.

His works in both explosives and clay earn Clan Lamprey a decent amount of coin, as long as he doesn't break them before they're shipped out, which is the only reason why most dragons tolerate his presence. Some of the proceeds from his artwork also go to the harpies who nest on the cliffside, to keep them from killing him in his sleep.

The firework shows Ghazir puts on during festivals are both beautiful and terrifying -- beautiful because he's great at making them, but terrifying because he fails to observe basic safety rules unless constantly monitored and has nearly set the forest on fire countless times.
