B I O G R A P H Y

______ Gorowing up, Lavender had a nearly perfect life. Her parents adored her and did their best to raise her, and an outgoing and extroverted personality meant that she had many friends growing up. She was also a Naomi descendant, and her magic was more powerful than average as a result, making her stand out even more. However, Lavender grew up quite sheltered, and she had taken her life for granted, assuming every other hatchling had the same life she did. She held this view until she reached adolescence, which was when she met another dragon who had a much worse upbringing than she did. That dragon was what led her to become a therapist, as the wake up call she gave Lavender motivated her to research on dragons like her friend, which in turn led her to want to become a therapist and help those dragons work past their trauma. She spent many years studying under the therapists in her clan, and she finally left after she felt she had learned everything there was to learn, looking to find other clans without therapists so she could help those who needed it the most. During her travels. she came across Frostfall Village when it was still small, and it was there she met Shen. He had already made large progress in working through his trauma, and had gotten over many of the trust issues he had developed after he was cast out of his former clan. Because of this, he had a much easier time striking up a friendship with Lavender than the other dragons had with him. He admired Lavender for the work she did, and wanted to know her better as a result. As the months passed and their friendship grew, they eventually fell in love and became mates, eventually having their daughter, Ayu. Life with the three of them was near perfect, but eventually, when Bimala recovered from her ordeal in the Plague Hunger Games and announced her plans of leaving to become a mercenary, Shen confessed he wanted to go as well. While initially reluctant, Lavender realised how important this was to her mate and allowed him to go. Now, she looks forward to his return and makes sure to make the most of their time together.

______ Lavender, even when she was still sheltered, was a kind and selfless dragon. She would do favours for her friends without fail, which was a big part of how she got so popular in school, combined with her outgoing personality. She had always lent a listening ear to her friends when they were having trouble, which contributed to her decision to become a therapist. She is also very outgoing, and will try to strike up a friendship with every dragon that becomes part of the village. As a result, she has a very close friendship with Triton, bonding over their habit for befriending the villagers. However, despite all her friends, the bond she shares with her family is the strongest of all. She admires her mate for staying strong despite what he’s gone through, and adores her daughter much like her own parents adored her. She was genuinely worried when Ayu started to form her insecurities, and tried her best to help her through. When Ayu finally found what she wanted to do, Lavender was over the moon, and supported her wholeheartedly. She enjoys her job very much, and finds no greater reward than helping her patients through their trauma. While the only one that stayed in the village was Aithne, she keeps in touch with all her clients, regularly sending them letters to communicate. She has a very close relationship with her parents and is grateful for the love they showed her when she was growing up. Whenever the Winds of Frostfall visit the Sea of a Thousand Currents, she joins them to pay a visit to her home clan, and is their main way of getting to breathe underwater to take jobs in the Water region at all.
