When Atlas had first heard about the upcoming meteor shower, he had been ecstatic. When he heard that the best view was atop the Cloudscrape Crags, he had grown fearful. For a dragon with their head always in the clouds, the Guardian never wanted to leave the ground. This elicited teasing from his fellow stargazers. Some of the older dragons would just frown and shake their heads at him - if he couldn't overcome his fear, he would never be able to map the stars. For weeks, Atlas had wandered with his head lower to the ground than usual, worrying his friends. He had always wanted to overcome his fear, as it often kept him from experiencing life to the fullest capacity. With this proper motivation, he began to work towards overcoming his fear. Soon, it became easier to go just a little higher. He was determined to not miss this once-in-a-life time event. It would be all worth it for a chance to feel like he was bearing the heavens upon his shoulders...
