▾ CHARACTER
- Monsoon is the quiet, quick-to-anger sort. Having lived alone so long in the desert, hunting and being hunted, she has a crude and unrefined aura to her that reflects in the short, clipped words she says when spoken to.
- She’s always out to make a profit, and she puts no limits on what tasks she’s willing to do. She hunts monsters, sabotages companies, and guards caravans on the regular, whatever will put a coin in her pocket.
- She’s rather nomadic, constantly wandering the desert in seek of new work. She has a small home in the Carrion Canyon that she rarely returns to. It’s quite worn-down as most of her money goes to sustaining her as she journeys.
- She prefers a solitary lifestyle unless a pack of her own kind can be found. There aren’t many Sweeper mirrors still roving, but she’ll spend weeks with them whenever they cross paths, learning new techniques and sharing her wisdom.
▾ HISTORY
- Monsoon was born in the Low Desert, a sloping area of the Shifting Expanse that dips closer to the Sea of a Thousand Currents than most (located off to the south of Thunder Hollow). Her birth clan was the center of operations for a large band of Desert Sweepers.
- Learned a great deal of her trade from the aged Sweepers who had taken up permanent residence in the village and even now returns to them frequently for help with new, obscure jobs she takes.
- Eventually split off from the clan to start taking jobs independently. She has done many noteworthy things throughout the Shifting Expanse but is never remembered for it. She prefers it that way, truth be told.
▾ CURRENT
- Is presently under a standing contract with Thunder Hollow to create detailed maps of areas throughout the Stormcatcher's domain, focusing on ecology and wildlife populations. She is paid a large fee per map with no set deadline; this allows her to take other jobs in this timespan as well. She delivers the maps to the Bronzespark Outlook; they are transferred from there to Thunder Hollow.

CARMINE Monsoon's hunting companion, Carmine accompanies her on her travels and helps provide food for journeys into uncivilized territories. He is getting quite old, however, and will likely be sent off to Thunder Hollow when he can no longer keep up with his master. |

- STORM [Employer] » Monsoon keeps in correspondence with Storm, notifying her of progress updates and asking questions regarding obscure local fauna.
