They make extremely skilled survivalists that know their ways around the desert and somehow seem to possess a sixth sense for avoiding potentially lethal lightning strikes. It makes them extremely valuable as scouts, warriors and hunters that do the dirty work for the larger corporations. Rumor has it that they retained their rich blue coloration from crossings with species that lived beneath the surface and then retained it as an adaptation to camouflage with lightning strikes and thunderclouds. The crimson tint on their wings and bellies began to develop over time, which indicates a healthy and mature dragon nowadays. Eventually, they migrated towards the Highland Scrubs and Carrion Canyon, where they can be found even to this day. Rarely are they seen closer to the Tempest Spire, though no one quite knows why they do this Their skills as desert scavengers make each and every one of them excellent survivalists and also hunters. They're the ones that know all the tricks to make it in this harsh enviroment - whether that's hunting specific animals or utilizing the fauna, such as cacti juice, or making a camp to spend the cold nights. Many of them appear to have an internal map of their enviroment that will always lead them back home if they get lost, and even if they don't have this born skill, they're skilled at reading the stars and using them to navigate their way back to their clanmembers. Though they prefer to live solitary lives, they make extremely loyal employees and companions to those that manage to gain good standing with them. The effort to gain their trust is well worth it: there aren't many dragons that are naturally born into roles that ought to be filled in a world that spirals around scientific research and advancing technology. They're those that would stand at the frontline if the Stormcatcher calls to war or risk their life for a fellow clanmate. Desert Sweepers will most of the time be seen wearing colored apparel that helps them in the harsh enviroment of the desert. In some cases, they may adorn their bodies with bones they have collected from carcasses they found in the desert or prey they have killed. The unique markings that adorn wings and body mark both their sexual maturity and make it harder to spot them amidst the thunderclouds and lightning strikes. Particulary their uncommon red coloration comes with experience, skill and temperament.
