An angler that lives in solitude, Lacrimosa spends his time trawling the seaside collecting many of the ocean's bounties. Though he mostly lives in solitude, he comes ashore to sell his fare on the edge of Sōlis. Fish, shells, even kelp; all manner of things found on his travels are in stock- even the occasional old shipwreck finding will be on display.

His oceanic colors, matching both that of the deep, and wings of the tides, make him seem to fade between the waves, unable to be seen until it's too late. Lacrimosa keeps his wings covered, only revealing them when larger, or even just deadlier creatures approach. The piercing gaze of his wings' spots strike fear into any beast, tricking them into thinking a much larger dragon is near.

Though his interactions with others are few and far between, he seems to be an affable clanmate. Lacrimosa is kind and rather soft spoken, with a gentle and pleasant demeanor. On occasion, he'll even have to be 'forced' to accept payment for what he hunts, oftentimes trying to give away his catches before they spoil. He's quite particular about the freshness of his products, ensuring only the best is available.

Despite his archaic lifestyle, he has an appreciation for the arts as well. Rarely he will attend shows at the amphitheater, and often borrows stories from the library. He keeps a journal in the dry parts of his cave home, writing when inspiration strikes. He never shares these stories, perhaps out of reticence. Much of his time on land is spent browsing the shops in Sōlis, buying a trinket or two each visit.

Lacrimosa was perhaps named after his primal eyes, the ever-twisting waves similar to the whirlpools of the Sea of a Thousand Currents. Despite how it looks, the rippling of his gaze has no effect on anything near him; not a single drop of water will land where it shouldn't. While they're perfect for blending in with the tide, he's somewhat self conscious about them on land, explaining himself to strangers before they could get the chance to ask.
