It is the core of the lair; open to the elements with two arches open to balconies on either side letting in the rays of the Lightweaver at all hours. The quartz floors make it easy to clean autumn leaves or rainwater out, it is a peaceful and airy space. We close off the shutters to the outside in snow and storms, thankfully, our corner of Sornieth is largely temperate. We have incense burning at all times; it smells light and floral, I'm not sure of the scent, perhaps lily. I shall have to research it..."

"My job is to maintain the space at all hours. Keep watch over it, sweep, maintain the censer and of course, keep the shelves in order. This is where we keep our earliest scrolls, as well as our collection of relics. They are safest in the temple, surrounded by wards and charms that preserve them, and these spells need access to the light to be at their strongest.
I also act as a listening ear, as Lassuarium taught me, to listen is the greatest knowledge of all. The temple is never empty, I sleep on a pile of pillows and blankets so that our clan can work here at all hours. The atmosphere suits the diviners of our clan, but occasionally scholars of every discipline will research our collection. Most of all, I enjoy telling stories to the hatchlings who wander in, watching them fixed onto my words is a source of pure joy...
