Mallow's personal office is often subject to tornadoes and whirlwinds that send her papers flurrying. Billowing amber mists and crackles of violet sparks can be seen from the gap in the door left ajar. She spends all day fulfilling requests from the Forge, and other curious scholars about the clan, for spells that they have at hand. In her spare moments, she experiments with her half-baked recipes and potion making curiosity, leading to happy accidents and a hazardous office. It isn't unusual to find her chipping away icicles from the ceiling of her cramped room, or shooing away a summoned elemental toward's Seep's workshop.

Mallow is sweet and friendly, but so easily distracted that it makes an afternoon tea with her at times an ordeal. She will stare at dragonflies whizzing in the roof garden from her window, pick at her own paws for clumps of alchemical residue, or murmur about the powders she needs to stock up as you ask her for opinions. She means well, however, and so is a favourite amongst the scholars of the clan. She is a huge fan of Dioxippe's novels and has each of her copies signed; he even lets her read over drafts of his work from time to time...
