Biography

Talin is a recent addition to the clan. She was assigned to Dragonblight as a symbol of peace between the two clans, and quickly made an impression. With her thirst for knowledge and never ending well of enthusiasm for the new and unusual, she was perfect to place in charge of tracking down and gathering new recipes for the Barebones kitchen, and is the head chef.

She was given to Shebeen to raise by Rem, who officially adopted her soon after, while Speakeasy adopted her as an adult when he joined the family, and they both dote on her. Though she sometimes finds it irritating to be babied, especially as she's an adult now, she adores both of them. Especially Speakeasy, who has taken charge of helping her fully embrace her Ridgeback heritage and shaped general bad habits into near terrifying mastery.

Though she is close to her family, she's also rather headstrong and independent. Talin is often found - or more often a glimpse of her fleeing is caught - dodging the wrath of Legion for adding her new recipes to the library without processing them through The System first. Her constant theft of cookbooks that almost never return from the kitchen without a stain or two also earn his ire.

(original bio)

Talin is odd for a Snapper. She has that thirst for knowledge and travel like most of her kind, but her mother's Ridgeback ways have not been lost on her. The young Snapper often "borrows" books and scrolls, much to her first clan's librarian's dismay. She isn't much of a troublemaker, considering her ancestry, but is a bit of a thorn in any dragon's side who values the organization of old scrolls.

Even though she is young the hatchling has a good head on her shoulders. She thinks very logically, if not in a slightly eccentric manner. Talin isn't one for fighting and has no interest in entering the Coliseum or learning the warrior's way. She would be best suited assisting a clan's scribe or maintaining a library for the clan.
