Rusted Chain ABOUT -

» Sani. A ruthless reptile―though she was only as ruthless as the Scarred Wasteland demanded. She was born under the Windsinger, though spent barely a moment of her life in their territory.

» Not one to talk much, one was given merely moments to convince her of one’s intentions. Strangers pierced by her eyes, stumbling over words or falling quiet. It was what kept her clan safe and healthy.

» She had a boisterous laugh, almost as though even in pleasant situations, she wanted to remind those around her of her sharp and deadly fangs. And although she was dangerous, and made sure to be clear about that, she was just as much protective and caring for her clan.
A tightly knit family, with their own unique rules and laws, flourishing in a rotten place. Although their way of being may not be for everyone, no one can argue it hasn't kept them well-fed and their territory secured.

» Sani disliked talking with strangers―travelers, merchants, bandits―though she enjoyed listening… to one specific Wildclaw. Her lifelong wife, Saru, had more diplomatic blood, and Sani valued her input. Oftentimes, Saru was the sole reason a fight was prevented. Sani would laugh about it, “One or two fights more or less… Ah, what difference does it make?”―though it was no secret she was thankful. At least to her wife.
Sani was not hesitant to bestow all her gentleness onto Saru, no one deserved it more than her. And her eyes would grow wide with excitement whenever Saru discussed a deal with merchants―just how did she do it? Always getting the best deals. A magician―clearly her wife was a magician. Her fiery eyes spoke for that fact, anyway.

» And if there was one thing Sani loved as much as listening to her wife chop off 50.000 treasure from a deal, it was training their offspring to become as skilled and deadly as herself.
While only few stayed for long with their mothers, their bond was unbreakable, and each and every one of them was prepared to fiercely defy the cruelties of the Scarred Wasteland.
