- dilf

- part of the field team

- hasn’t been around for as long as some others but is still very experienced

- does have some background in sciences but he mostly just joined the team to do odd jobs n be extra muscle. he came in after larger groups became a requirement, and was invited in by Odyssey to fill that requirement

- actually has picked up a lot of skills & information in his time working w the crew but insists he’s still just there to take on some of the labor & act as a bodyguard while the others do their thing

- genuinely a pretty good cook

- values hard work as much as they do leisure

- needs to be doing Something at any given point of time, even if that Something is only ‘relaxing’

- if something he is doing is not engaging enough he will Create a scenario to occupy himself with

- probably a main driving force behind team bonding activities

- ‘live & let live’ sorta dude

- actually pretty well adjusted

- he’s got brains but he flunked in his academic pursuits because he didn’t learn in the Right Way

- he doesn’t think highly of his intelligence as a result, and is very casual abt his self-depreciation in this regard. it’s not a thing he notices or pays any attention to, it’s some internalized junk

- outside of working with the crew, he does more standard work as a mechanic or electrician, he’s always shared an interest in the maintenance of technology w Odyssey (besides themself, he’s the only person they approve of to work on their systems)

- while Phoenix would have liked to proceed with their studies when they were younger, they’re still content with the direction their life has gone. they do good, honest work, and that’s fulfilling for them

- was absent from the team frequently, including during the specific recent accident that ended with Opportunity’s disappearance. since then he’s with the team more often so he can keep an eye on the rest of his friends and help them out wherever he can

- he is doing his best

- huge enabler, he’s the uncle who lets you do dumb, dangerous ****. he’ll give you advice and offer to show you how to do it right but he’s not gonna stop you or snitch, so long as you’re not gonna get other people hurt

- not one to decide things for other people, his philosophy is generally to let people learn their own way

Relations

Curiosity | teammate, ex
- dilf/milf solidarity
- mutual respect
- they are exes but had an amicable breakup, it was a casual thing in their youth that just didn’t work out
- being on a team together was probably weird at first but they do work well together and became friends quickly
- they will never reveal the actual reason they broke up because they have to much fun making up increasingly ridiculous stories and fake arguments
- Phoenix is trying to get her to take more breaks


Odyssey | old friend, ex
- met Odyssey during their schooling, & kept in touch as pen pals after he flunked out
- was later contacted by em to join up with the team. He agreed, since he didn’t have much else going on at the time
- did have a brief *romance* during their time in school together. Phoenix cannot catch a break
- they get along well, Phoenix is a really laid back dude
- the two like to poke fun at each other but know what boundaries shouldn’t be crossed
- he’s been closer with em since what happened to Tune. He got fairly worried about Odyssey while they were self-isolating and worked his way in to keep an eye on them. They’re doing better now, but he still checks in regularly to make sure they’re taking care of themself
- Phoenix is privy to a lot of Odyssey’s rants and vents (usually about [COMPANY]), and while he’s supportive and oh so very glad to see them so passionate over something again, it is very much very often and he usually finds himself zoning out while they talk in his direction

- met through Odyssey
- mutual respect, but Tune still thought it fun to mess with him


Perseverance | family
- very close, Phoenix has been an essential part of her life
- shenanigan-causers of the family
- share a love of outdoor activities
- share a lot of great goofs
- they have fun!!

- not as close but still have a good relationship
- Phoenix tries to get Maven out of their shell, to live a little
- very supportive of them and their efforts
