One of three leaders of the clan Fenghuang, Tonghua is every bit the outcast, despite his status. Tonghua's strange appearance is the cause of much gossip among the other clans, and even among the younger members of clan Fenghuang. This, along with his odd demeanor, sly bearing, and general untrustworthiness, is enough to deter most dragons from prying too far, though the clan's hatchlings love and respect him fiercely. For all Tonghua's quirks and lack of manners, he's quite intelligent and dangerous in his own right, and may be one of the most learned dragons who have sworn allegiance to Shadowbinder, at least in terms of magical knowledge. If there's any information on the Shade, Tonghua will know it. It's said he has ties to the harpies, but most harpies violently disavow anything to do with the Thousand Eyes.
