Kumari coughed, causing the dust to suspend in the air momentarily before settling down again.

"Daddy, who's that?" A squeaky voice pipped up, the owner of the voice out of Kumari's view.

"Hmm? That's Kumari, our first gened dragon and our...very eccentric inventor." A gruff voice replied.

Recognising that voice, Kumari put down her tools to fly up, only to looking into the red eyes of Javeric.

"I'm not eccentric! I'm beautiful!" Kumari pouted as she gestured at her tiger body.

Javeric rolled his eyes.

"Oh, I forgot to mention something. She's vain as well."

Kumari narrowed her eyes at this, but chose to ignore it this time.

"Who's the visitor, Javeric?"

"My son. Lilac's and my nest hatched today, and we're taking them around the clan first." Javeric said, with a slight hint of pride.

"Even if they're not staying?" Kumari muttered under her breath.

"I heard that." Javeric sternly looked at her.
