The Traveling Merchant
She is known to always be able to find the thing you want, if you give her a day to find it; at least, she says that about herself. It's true, at least, that she is very good at games of trade. Finding someone willing to trade one thing for the next, and going on through the clan until each dragon has obtained the item they're willing to trade for. To feel treasure slip from one paw to the next, to find new items and new trade, it is a thrill she loves.
Florence Quote:
Uh-oh, looks like this enthusiastic merchant wandered a little too far from her home lair (ZippoFeuer, #385984), and now she's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, she'd really appreciate it if you could just return her to her home lair, to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here, or to the hub if you don't want another dragon in return. This is not necessary, but she would be very grateful!

Journey Log
ZippoFeuer: And oh, she'd certainly stayed a while in the little space carved out of stone. A clan that her brother had lived in for a long time, a clan that she'd been part of for a while herself- or at least, she'd been in the lower regions, near the base of the isles, where commerce and trade performed by the sailing merchants was common enough. Yes, she'd been there a long while... And though trade was easy and dear to her, something she enjoyed without reserve, it was not, perhaps, her Charge.
So she eventually packed her bags, her stall taken down, and set off across the continent, and perhaps to the isle countries further, to continue her constant mercantile life, and to find what could be her life's work, if not this; what is that which her Guardian's instinct tells her to seek?
IIzarose: There's a little town on an island just off the coast of the sundial terrace. It doesn't get many travelers, so the local merchant Piper was ecstatic to exchange goods and hear stories of Florence's travels. Unfortunately, Florence's visit was cut short by the local mafia deciding some of her goods weren't things to be sold in town, and the guardian left with a string of hurried goodbyes, and mischievous promise to visit again soon.
SCP1762: After a few longer travels, Florence came to Fantasy, and set up shop. She had a few things to sell, but moreso was looking for a new trade to add to her personal collection. She stayed in the main hub area, but quickly set to exploring. She came across a hibernal den, and saw a white pearlcatcher roll over and accidentally past the magical barrier keeping them in their slumber. The merchant watched as strings of purple eyes opened, surprising her. "Oh, hello," said the Pearlcatcher in a sleepy voice. She looked at Florence and blinked her two main eyes. "I love those red silks you have," she commented, and Florence considered this an opportunity. "Would you like to make a trade for them?" she asked, and the Pearlcatcher nodded after thinking for a moment. "How about these?" the Pearlcatcher asked, producing a pair of crimson aviator gloves and a rune. "The rune will make your claws glow, I think this one does red," she said, and Florence considered it. "Sure," she said, and the pair swapped. The gloves fit nicely and were still that pretty red she liked. She turned to thank the Pearlcatcher, but saw her back inside the hibernal cave, fast asleep with a smile on her face, silks wrapped neatly around her forelimbs. Heading back up, Florence made a few sales, but then decided to move on, the Pearlcatche staying in her mind.
grxndsxn: Florence only wanted to briefly return to Crow Callers to meet Lipservice again. Lipservice wasn't one to keep a relationship for long, so he asked Florence if they just wanted to be friends after this. She accepted.
Florence felt as though she was carrying too much, so she dropped some of her items off at Crow Callers before heading on her way again.
