1 of 14 dragons with Hickory/Soil/Ivory, 1 of 2 unexalted
Uh-oh, looks like this pebble wandered a little too far from his home lair (196717 DarkPuffin), and now he's off to see the world! If ever you feel the need to exalt, he'd really appreciate it if you could just return him to the home lair, or to the 'Dragons Off To See The World' thread, here. This is not necessary, but he would be very grateful!1 of 14 dragons with Hickory/Soil/Ivory, 1 of 2 unexalted

My Story
I’m not sure where I am, only that it is dark and I am alone. I think I have a family, but I do not remember. I think I have a home too, but it is not here, in this darkness. So I will keep searching, and learning. Perhaps I will remember.
It's too bright. Too warm. Too pleasant. I want to fly away from it all, to return to the darkness, but there is something calling me back. A voice just at the edge of my consciousness gently whispering my name. I need to know what—or who—is calling me.
I let the warm winds guide me, trusting their judgment. I find myself drifting closer to the land, the ruins of sun-bleached pillars and forgotten scrolls littering the landscape of the Lightweaver.
Finally, I land, my wings thanking me for giving them a break after so many hours of work. I glance around, the voice has basically disappeared. It's as if it was only there to do its job, to bring me here, and now that I am here, it can disappear.
There is a sudden flash of color among the bleached terrain.
I dart behind the nearest stack of rubble, my senses on high alert. Ears pricked and nostrils flared, I wait.
"Who are you?" a voice asks from somewhere up ahead. I tense but do not respond. It's the same voice that was inside my head just minutes ago!
"Fine, well I'm Florence," the voice continues. It has a feminine lilt to it. "And I would like to welcome you to The Solaire Archives, lost traveler."
I peek around the corner of the mound and see a tundra a few meters away, draped in colorful shawls. She catches my eye and smiles, perhaps a little shyly. After a moment's hesitation, I somehow find myself smiling in return.

Things are stranger than I thought they would be in the Starfall Isles. Flowers glitter like stars up in the trees. A dragon clan has made their home inside of a large mound of crystal. They are known as the Sleepy Hollow Clan, and have some kind of curse on them. There are many different kinds of dragons, all working together to figure this out. Scientists, magicians, warlocks, seers.
I spent some time with the mate of the warlock, a skydancer named Julia. She ran the library, which was nothing really more than a collection of dusty old tomes that they had managed to gather. It seemed as if many had not been used in some time, but Julia spoke of the stories in them as if she had recently remembered reading them. She allowed me access to any of the books I desired, and I spent much time there.
After spending some time here, I have decided that it's time to be on my way. Lately I have been sleeping more and more, and the dragons have begun to grow worried. Something may be coming, and I don't want to stick around and find out what it is.

I escaped the cursed clan and all the dragons that fought the curse, as nice as they may be. While they were kind, their life was not one that I envied. So I fled, running, flying, stumbling my way across until I needed off the ground, off the bounds of the soil, into the sky. I wasn't made to fly, but I flew until my wings gave out, and crashed into wind territory. Two passing dragons, a nocturne and spiral with similar colors, found me, hurt and alone, and welcomed me to their clan, Singing Winds. They talked a lot, and I listened less, still dazed.
This is not the home I seek. But it is good enough, for now, with kind dragons to watch over me as I recover, and a nice nest to lay my head on. I even received a hat to keep the sun out of my eyes while I journeyed.
As I stayed with them, I spoke with a guardian by the name of Debris, on a quest to find her charge. While I doubted any hatchlings I could give her would help her achieve her goal, my heart went out to hers. She seems to know what it's like to be lost, incomplete, forever searching for something to ground her.
But unlike me, she is not alone.
