Biography
Morning mist
A strange creature wanders the world in the cold, damp hours between the end of the night and the beginning of the day.
You may have heard whispers about him. Have heard him called a ghost, or a creature of darkness trying to keep the day from approaching. Others may have told you about the son of the morning star, said that he fought the shadows of the night so the sun could rise without fear.
Neither of those stories is true.
There are dragons who have met him. Most will never speak about it. If they hear those whispers, they either leave, not wanting to listen, or they stay, and stop the dragon talking. They will never tell you about him. If you ask anyway, you might actually get an answer.
“You can not describe him. Those who try are either liars, or fools”, is likely what you will hear most often.
You may ask if there is a way to know the truth. Yes. Yes, there is. But most don´t chose to take it.
If you are lost, in the cold hours between night and day, when the world is shrouded by mist and the only thing visible are the last stars above you, then you might hear different kind of whispering. Listen. Listen closely. You might not understand those whispers, anyway. But if you do, you will be guided. You follow the directions you are given, and when the mist clears under the rising sun, you are no longer lost. And you are alone.
See, here is the truth you will not be given: the creature you are looking for, the guide who saved your live, is no longer there when the sun arises. He is made of the fog and the last dying stars. He dies with then and arises anew the next night. He is as quiet as the beginning day, and a guiding beacon as the stars.
But he cannot be hold. Do not try to hold me with your words.
