Biography

Quote:
Shiro

These kind kitsune are more interested in their duties than causing problems for others. They tend to be dutiful and good-natured and is one of the few variants that prefers being in large groups. While they do like shoulder responsibility and do it well, they poke fun at just about anything.

History: (TW: Abuse, Violence/Minor Gore)

"Bobby" was born to two parents with scarred and broken histories. Considered cold-hearted murderers that spilled blood and organs wherever they went, they drove most creatures away, including dragons outside the clan. When Bobby was born, she was immediately dragged into battle within the coliseum's own training grounds. In said Training grounds, the little dragon was told to fight, to kill to survive, so that she wouldn't be a burden. Bobby pleaded them to make it stop. Her wings were torn and battered from being forced to attack and kill several creatures--mostly other hatchlings. Her horns and flank were stained with dripping blood, as she massacred other creatures. Despite her constant training, she didn't gain any experience, much to the dismay and fury of her mother. Her parents considered the hatchling a failure. Like their other offspring, they saw much potential in her, until she saw her siblings fight to the death, and screamed for them to stop. Bobby was too small to be made a feast for two, so her parents shoved her into a nearby stream, and left her to die of starvation.

Her siblings went missing only a few days after that.

On a morning flight over the territory, Imperius flew low to the ground, near the border of the plague territory. As he was collecting herbs and crystals for his elixir, he heard the faint sobbing of a small dragon. As soon as he turned to find out where the noise was coming from, he froze, and dropped what he was doing. He rushed over to the hatchling, and turned her over, revealing a small, bruised and bloodied baby dragon. He carried the hatchie in his arms, and flew back over to the Lightning Flight's territory, leaving his potion ingredients behind.

When they got back, Imperius knew he'd have to take more care into the little one before him. With an event that likely traumatized her for life, he took extra precautions to make sure she was comfortable being around the other hatchlings and dragons, especially since she wouldn't go near anyone except for him. He soon introduced the baby to Crystal, the other clan leader, who tried to be as gentle as she could. Alas, the tiny imperial cowered in fear, and wouldn't get anywhere near the large, imposing guardian. On the first night, she went to bed, hoping she wouldn't have to deal with talking to anyone ever again. She woke up after being unconcious from a random nocturnal seizure, coupled with brutal nightmares of her killing more and more dragons. She woke up to a mildly worried Imperius, while Crystal looked like she was about to break and start sobbing. Imperius sends her away, and rocks the tiny Imperial to sleep.

When Bobby grew up, she decided to change her name. She told Imperius she wanted to name herself Bloodborne, to remind herself of the horrible parents she was born from, and to remind herself of all the bad things she had done. Imperius said he wouldn't, and said that she had no choice in that, and that she shouldn't have to remind herself of that because of her parents, and name herself something she really wants to be named. She was free now.

Bobby, now Dahlia, is a really anti-social dragon who often only hangs around with Imperius, and has only just warmed up to Crystal. She still doesn't trust Crystal that much, but she'll stay around her for longer periods of time. She hates the dried blood that stains her scales and cakes her horns and claws, but she just can't seem to wash it off, no matter how hard she scrubs those areas. She's deathly mortified of other dragons and creatures, and will almost never interact with them for fear of their own safety. She only keeps her familiar around as a comfort animal, and trusts herself not to kill them. She completely refuses to fight, even when told to, unless she's forced to completely against her own will. (Like in Thing's backstory) She wants to eventually overcome her fear and train to be a nurse, so she can help other dragons and hatchlings heal and have a better life than she did.
