Legend tells of an old clan of dragons renowned for their beauty. By any outsider's account, they were all perfect, and equally so. Yet, within their ranks, dispute reigned. Who was truly prettier than who? Who was the fairest of them all?

Jealousy became their worst enemy, starting with simple petty rumors and guiding their hand to bloodshed. Eventually, they reached a point where even they realized that something was wrong. The leader, tired of the fighting, had simply one thing to say.

That had the crowd pondering. Instead of looking for peace, they sought to find a way to figure out who, after all, was the most perfect of them all. Eventually, the crowd came to a brilliant conclusion. A contest, a fight to the death! It was settled.



After the dust settled, it was not the prettiest, but the strongest that still stood. Yet, with no one left to compare with, Pastel had to be the prettiest. Who else was left to challenge them? They turned to brag, but found no one. The victory was short lived as what they had done in the name of their pride sank in.

Legend tells of the purest, the fairest, the prettiest dragon of all. And, despite all of their efforts, that clan had forever lost their chance to hold it.
