Rodrig has a stutter, and because of this is often shy and embarrassed around other dragons. Despite it, however, he is an excellent doctor, with a sweet and kindly bedside manner and takes the responsibility that comes with his white doctor’s coat very seriously. Because he is incredibly empathetic, he can often be overwhelmed by the strong emotions of others, but this empathy also makes him better at understanding a patient's pain and how best to soothe them. He also keeps hard candies in his pockets for his younger patients, as he serves as both an on-call midwife and a pediatrician for young hatchlings.
