As the tributes eye each other around the arena's center, it isn't long until they are wished luck by Audoren's deep voice, and the horn sounds for the games to begin.

Jasper sprinted down, leaping over tumbling dragons. He was fairly surprised that everyone was so desperate to run away, regardless he swooped into the cornucopia and snatched a long, deadly spear. He pushed off of it and sprinted out, now holding a deadly weapon.
"This shall be fun," he smirked, though still continuing to run to get his own quiet corner to gather supplies in.
LemonySnaket wrote on 2019-11-08 10:19:47:
Jasper padded through the forest, deciding he'd gotten far enough from the cornucopia. He blinked, not exactly sure what to do, but he decided he'd need food and water to keep himself going. He could fight for shelter and supplies, but the latter were basic survival needs.
He scrambled up a tree, to get some high-ground and spot some creatures he could spear from the bushes. He tore off a vine and tied it around the handle of the spear, so he could keep it within range and pull it out from something if necessary.
He noticed a shuffling in the bushes and threw the spear at it. He heard a squeak and pulled it up, a small bunny to eat, yum.
He turned, noticing another shuffling in a bush behind him. He raised the spear to throw, but it stopped. No sign of a creature inside.
He decided not to waste time trying there and turned, looking for other prey items or even fellow tributes.
Lucky for Meheyra, he'd skimmed over her. He didn't do anything more other than prepare for the night. Including making a small fire to partially cook his catches and finding a clear water source. Well uh, up-river from a dead tribute clean. He decided to spend the night in a tree, as he was able to climb, fly and manoeuvre well in such, giving him an advantage over breeds that couldn't. He didn't have a second thought about being watched, confident and having a large spear at the ready helped.

Audoren hummed in annoyance as a wire frayed and snapped, causing an Arena Event to trigger much too early for his liking. "Acidic Rain... I was hoping to use it if things got too peaceful...."
LemonySnaket wrote on 2019-11-08 23:48:47:
Jasper felt the slowly ascending acid. He wondered for a moment if he was blessed by a normal rainstorm for water, but the thought quickly went away. Nothing was safe here, it could lead up to a flood, tsunami...
His scales began to feel a burning sensation.
Acid rain.

He sprinted down and quickly scanned for shelter. Carving a hole into the trunk of his current tree-base would be bad, acid-mud could soak in and the tree could collapse on him. He hissed in annoyance, searching for another place to rest successfully.
A few large stones covered by undergrowth. If he was lucky there would be a crack he could crawl into - preferably off the ground - and stay until it was over. He leapt down from the tree and sprinted as fast as he could, only feeling the burning sensation increase. He looked up at the rocks and for his luck, a gap! He slithered in and tucked his supplies (the ones he could pack up before the storm anyway) beside him. Watching the storm increase and hearing screams of terror from other tributes. He grinned, the simple feeling of outsmarting others and having good luck to find a safe-spot.
LemonySnaket wrote on 2019-11-10 04:37:06:
Jasper clambered out of his little safe-hole in the acid rainstorm. He padded out to check the supplies he left, most of it was wrecked but he grabbed it all, what he couldn't use was good food for a fire.
He scanned around, and spotted a guardian. He readied a spear, but slowed down. She didn't look particularly dangerous but he cautiously approached still. He wasn't completely sure why, he could have easily drove the spear through her head and heard a satisfying boom of the cannon. But, he wanted to relax for the night, perhaps talk to this fellow tribute.
"Hello? Who is this?" He asked, with a slight growl warning that he was ready to attack.
She turned and responded with something friendly enough for Jasper's liking, and he beckoned her over. Lighting a small fire for warmth and to cook some meat. He wasn't an idiot and brought his food and water with him when hiding. He could loose blankets, backpacks and knives. Food? Vital.
"I am Jasper, I come from District 5." He explained, "Though I'm Arcane, I've always... been strong in the realm of power. I used to be the assistant to a security guard at the powerstation. Let's say that when they called security... The ones in question didn't end up so well."
"What about you?"
Day 2
LemonySnaket wrote on 2019-11-10 22:59:35:
Jasper blinked, waking up before dawn rose. The guardian was still there at his heels, it was a tempting thought to stab his spear through her but he resisted. Perhaps if he faked a crush or they became partners in crime he'd get more sponsors, he always wanted that.
He'd always backstab her in the end though, just like so many dragons in teams.
But for today, having a companion seemed good.

He gently patted Sakon's head and she rose, grumbling about something. He snorted and scrambled up, looking at her.
"Well, if you still want to stay with me, we need to find some supplies, I lost a lot yesterday."
She nodded and followed him. The two occasionally chatted about things, but for the most part they were silent. They both knew the importance of it. Jasper was able to catch some rabbits whilst Sakon foraged for bugs and leaves. She gave him some leaves that supposedly would make you throw up poison, Jasper said thank you and put them in a backpack but wasn't entirely convinced.
"Want to hunt for tributes?" He asked out of the blue, tired of just foraging all day.
She shook her head, "Use this as a peaceful, collecting day. We can attack and kill on another day. They won't use some arena event the very day-after acid rain and will give us this day as one to... prepare for the next."
He nodded, understanding that.
"Well, I think another camp is close by, want to raid it for supplies?"
She smiled, that she said yes to.
LemonySnaket wrote on 2019-11-11 23:02:46:
Jasper flexed his claws, night was beginning to rise and his guardian companion had run off. With at least one person who knew the location of his camp he'd need to stay safe, careful, yet be smart.
He scrambled up his tree-shelter and scanned around, spotting a fae collecting fire wood in a clearing.
He flew over, circling before landing in the clearing, quickly pouncing at the fae and pinned him to a tree, spear readied.
"Look, I could kill you, but night is approaching. So, let's make a deal, we sleep in shifts, you could try and kill me in the night - I'll even let you go first, but just know that if I hear something I can wake up and easily overpower you. Hopefully this act of mercy right now of not killing you will show I'm trustful.
More so, as long as you don't run away, I'll give you some insects I have and can't even eat, deal?"
He stared at the fae, giving a 'you don't have a choice' look.
Day 3
LemonySnaket wrote on 2019-11-11 23:10:37:
Jasper woke early, and quickly left the shared shelter, dropping a bag of hoppers as he promised there. He ran out and scrambled back up to his shelter in the tree, fixing up supplies. He wasn't quite sure what to do for the day,,, he'd perhaps try to hunt some tributes? It had been quiet the last few days, he was still doing as Sakon said, preparing and anticipating for the worse.
He sighed, and examined himself, his scales were worn down by the acid rain, his eyes bagging with less and less sleep, he was even losing a bit of weight; and he took that as a bad thing. He sighed, he hadn't been properly injured yet, what if he did soon? He didn't have any herbs or medical supplies other than the leaves that make you throw up poison.
Suddenly, a little parachute came down, filled to the top with medicine and bandages. He smiled, looking up.
"Thank you."
He quickly snatched it up.

Audoren watched the days and nights with intrest as the tribute numbers dwindled to just four left. "Recon and attack on the strongest here....A smart plan but not enough for the death of a backstabber."
Day 6
ShadowPiper wrote on 2019-11-20 19:57:40:

Audoren hummed as he watched the anarchy as the final 4 became the final 2.
"It seems that wildclaw...Jasper...He doesn't take kindly to those interfereing with his camp, and Heavy cloaks do not do well in cold water" He mused mostly to himself and his assistants as he slowly counted down the final hours.
ShadowPiper wrote on 2019-11-30 16:58:12:

"Thank you to everyone who had once again joined us for our seventh round, three more until our first Custom Quell. As always to the Victor goes the spoils of war, and to the losers, compensation will be sent to the homes of the second and third placers."

"The victor these games is the stunningly cunning and vengeful Jasper from The Serpentine Alliance!

Has caught my Jasper's eyes

49861967_350.png

Jasper always thought himself as strong; a hunter, a fighter, a leader. He had squirmed his way to leadership in the Serpentine Loyalists and had thought himself beyond normal dragons falling for others.
But this was different.
It was another meeting, getting allies for their cause. It was relatively boring, just visiting groups of dragons and persuading - or in his case manipulating - them to team up.
One of the possible allies was a community area. The dragons weren't part as one large clan as such but more of a number of groups living around the same place. Still worth a try as allies.
He pulled off his blindfold to wipe his forehead of sweat - when he saw her.
The elegant wildclaw was clothed in a wolf mask and cape. A kilt and exaggerated claws adorned to her and a banner folding over her wing.
He straightened his posture and slipped his way over to her, she (despite her genes and scales) was wearing a far more interesting garment that showed of a hunter. In his mind, natural beauty was only there to fool dragons, but their skills of hunting and fighting were far more attractive. This dragon was no exception.

"Well, my fierce lady, what is your name?" Jasper strolled by her side and tried to look her in the eye.
She ignored him, continuing to make her way down with a prize of freshly hunted game.
Jasper decided she was the type of dragon who needed to be impressed, to be shown he was not just looks and small talk. And so he dashed to the side and let his claws rip through stands of rope. As the support was cut, barrels and crates tumbled down in front of Salmisra, leaving her to turn to the dragon who cut her route off.
"Well, I suppose now I have your attention?" Jasper flashed a somewhat cheeky smile, holding his claws out.
"If you like me just because I have pretty wings and filigree; I'm not interested." She gave a serious glare through the mask.
He rolled his eyes, "I don't care how you look under your fine wear, you are a hunter and so am I. I believe you are a strong, capable dragon - that is what I like."
She seemed to lighten up, then gave a challenging stare with a sprinkle of likeness and amusement,
"Right then mister, show me your brilliant hunting skills,"

Hope this is good! Wasn't sure if she was still part of the wolf mask group after her talk with Nevasca so I tried to leave it vague

I'd rather my permababies weren't flirted with since they're like, uhm, mini gods and one is shapeshifting snake
Please note this tab is out of my main clan lore, they're up for grabs but will be travelling with their companions in their respective page!

Darkzone stared at the Charcoal Kitsune mask that was recently brought in along with other trinckets for stock in her shop, her talon gently tapping on the polished wood. It has been fairly quiet for the past few days, and along with it her boredom and impatience began to rise.

"Stupid.." She grumbled, draging her talon to the forehead of the kitsune mask lazily enchanting it with the ability to fit any dragon's face. Just as she brought it up to her face the familiar chime of the bell of her store's entrance rang out.

"Is that.. a kitsune mask?" She swifly shifts her gaze to the door only to lock eyes with a deep red wildclaw with piercing arcane eyes. She chuckles dryly and removed the mask from her face, the wood magically reverting back to its smaller original form.

"A new customer? I haven't seen one in quite a while." She mused, slipping out from behind the counter and up to him, her hands clasped and a smile mischivious smile lacing her lips - she had to admit, he was quite a looker. "What're you after? Cursed scrolls? Rare artifacts? Or maybe magical buffs-"

"Shut it." The stranger lifted a talon to her snout, his eyes examing the shelves. Darkzone scrunches her snout in disgust and watched at he strided off to the other end of the small store, looking at the weapons stocked and their enchantments. She rubbed the area his talon grazed and shot him a glare, which he held no visible reaction to. "How rude.."

Now agitated by his blunt rudeness, Darkzone made her way back to the counter and glanced at the stock she had yet to enchant. She hear the gentle tapping of the wildclaw's talon against the armor on stock and smirked to herself - maybe this'll be fun after all.

She waited patiently as the customer browsed, keeping herself rooted to her counter, pretending to read over receipts and papers. It didn't take long until he appeared before her once more, placing an Ebon-edged spear upon the counter. She was quite surprised by his choice, giving an unamused grimance at the weapon of choice - she had remembered enchanting that so it was unbreakable, but it was still rather weak - wasn't long before realizing he was staring.

Clearing her throat, Darkzone forced a smile and tapped it with her talon. "Will that be all?"

"Yes."

"4700 treasure."

As he raised his hand to pay, the spear suddenly turned to face him and darted through his coat sleeve - narrowly missing his wrist. Following like a chain reaction, the other sharpened weapons beside Darkzone which were yet to be stocked aimed at him. His money pouch dropped with a clink as he flew back against the door, and before he knew it he was pinned against the wooden door, the bells chiming jeeringly over his head.

Scowling, the red wildclaw begun to try and break free from his sudden binding, only to stop once hearing Darkzone's sinister laugh from the counter.

She hopped over the counter and swiped a coin from the ground, examining it gleefully. "You know, you're quite stupid. Who would dare tell the owner of a enchanted shop to 'shut up'?" She laughed a bit more, flicking the coin at his face. "Here's a tip; your pretty face will to waste if you can't back it up with the brains-"

She tilts her head quickly as a small blade flew at her, cutting a lock of her dark mane. Her eyes widened at the sudden move, how did he even get the chance? After looking at where the blade stuck she turned to face him again only to find his eyes carrying a dangerous glint, completely contrasting his smirk.

It sent chills down her spine.
