Absinthe took over as an official Archiver after the previous dragon of the position, Noire, had been discovered trying to complete a cult ritual which would've flooded Shade magic into a sacrificial dragon. Needless to say, they needed someone else to fill the role.

Though he was relatively very young and new within the clan, he was solemn and respectfully accepted the opportunity he was given. He tends to stay out of trouble, preferring to watch and document the clan like a small bird watching a flock of hawks.

Here's to hoping he doesn't end up like his predecessor.

"Ha! I love my job! I was basically doing the same thing before I was hired, so now I actually get paid for it! Plus it gives me an excuse when other people get too nosy.

The Pearlcatcher muffles his smirk with a talon, clearly trying to keep from bursting into giggles. "Me? No thank you. Too much drama. Not too interested in seeing anyone, and my alone time's important to me. If I need validation, I'll go talk to Iriani. She's positive enough to give it to anyone."

At your second comment, he perks up in interest, and goes to fetch the enchanted music artifact that fits into his palm. Sure enough, Snobbism is quietly playing on loop. "It is a good song, isn't it? Happened to find it at the Trading Post, and couldn't help but relate. No one in this lair other than me understands just how performative we can get! In the end, it's just a convoluted show."
