His one true love is the sea. He doesn't need to see it he just needs to hear it, to smell it, to taste the salty air on his tongue. So long as he is sailing the seas of Sornieth he is at peace.

One might say that being blind is a hindrance... a nuisance. Not to Pike. He was born blind and has never known a visual world. He has his other senses. If he really needs some visual input then he has his dog and familiar to help with that.

… But Pike isn't his real name... His real name is lost to the seas. Buried deep down in the depths of the Tidelord... never to be spoken again...
