Background:

Splash of Falling Rain, often called "Splash" or "Rain" for short, is a young Tabaxi rogue that has dedicated her life to hunting down ancient relics. She is fascinated by various old artifacts, trinkets, and baubles and loves to explore ruins and tombs. Splash's occupation is thus, essentially, a tomb raider.

Unlike most individuals in her line of work, once an object has revealed all its secrets to Splash it usually loses her interest. She will then sell, donate, or (if stolen) return it and move on to the next thing that catches her interest. This is in keeping with her species' usual quirks, as they usually enjoy puzzling out secrets more than coin.

For the most part Splash worked with a small caravan of Tabaxi, the majority of which were archeologists, traveling around together hunting new discoveries and unearthing long lost treasures. And for most of her life, her father Snow Covering the Mountain (Snow) was right there with her. He trained his cub in the fine art of tomb raiding and thievery, adventure and sussing out secrets.

But one day he vanished, disappearing during an excavation the two had led on their own. A few months prior he had heard of an artifact of immense power and had urged the caravan to search for it. However, they did not believe it existed and refused to lend their manpower to finding it.

As a result, Splash now seeks to find this artifact and bring it back to them as proof that her father was not crazy. Hopefully she can also find her father along the way!
