Wonoh

(His name is pronounced ‘one oh’, which is a reference to the binary codings on a computer that goes like ‘10101’.)

Wonoh is an unusual dragon with unusual knowledge and unnatural patterns. He is fascinated in technology and high tech gadgets. This knowledge had most likely spawned from the remarks from other dragons of his unnatural looking gene. Its circuit-esque pattern had received lots of criticism from other dragons, most of them saying that Wonoh ‘looks like a robot!’ which is most likely the reason why Wonoh was sent to the auction house due to his former clan members bullying him about his looks. They thought that he didn’t look very natural and that his looks didn’t pay homage to the Gladekeeper because he looked like a robot. However, being the youngest of the young dragons, he didn’t know what a robot was. (The other dragons were told of robots by a dragon from the Lightning Flight that visited Wonoh’s former clan once.) So, once Wonoh had finished creating his nest in the pink crystalline caverns of the Unnamed Clan, he decided to do some research on what robots were and what the circuit pattern had to do with it. This is ironic, as Wonoh was born in a clan of the Nature Flight, and Nature dragons are rural as the forests, and not technological like Lightning dragons, or curious like Arcane dragons.

Wonoh travels occasionally to the Shifting Expanse to learn more knowledge about technology from the dragons that work as employees for the Stormcatcher. The employees slowly, as the visits from Wonoh continued rapidly, got very annoyed at this young Nature dragon, who had moved to an Arcane clan, that repeatedly visited the Lightning Farms and the Tempest Spire, in which he shouldn’t be visiting - from the safety perspective. The employees of the Stormcatcher have developed a hatred for the young Skydancer, but don’t show it when he actually comes around. Nowadays, when Wonoh travels to the Shifting Expanse for answers about computers, circuits, robots, machines and technology, an employee or two will say a quick fact then usher the little dragon away with their large wings.

When Wonoh returns to the Crystalspine Reaches, and eventually to the Unnamed Clan, he shares his knowledge with the other dragons. Valygar, Palada and Marcus are the most interested in Wonoh’s facts and reasons of why dragons called him a robot that linked to circuits and computers. Quince is, as always when there’s a new dragon in the clan that’s become popular, the least intrigued. He tries, whether Wonoh is going to share a fun fact about technology or not, to make Wonoh leave any situation, so then Quince can tell the dragons about his fancy clothes and shining scales, and how they are more arcane and true to the Flight than Wonoh’s circuit-y genes, despite not being born an Arcane dragon himself.
