Biography

Palada is sneaky and stubborn. He is protective of his possessions whenever any Arcane dragons come near his territory in the lair. His monochromatic scales glisten in the light, and his red eyes pierce the darkness, as they are the only bits of him that are visible in the dark. After leaving his previous lair, he has been feeling a bit nervous and uncomfortable in his new Arcane home. Although most of the dragons in the Unnamed Clan are a bit skittish with Plague dragons, they welcomed Palada with full arms. Although, it was hard to shake hands with Palada, as he was a Spiral, and Spirals were very energetic. There had not been a Spiral in the clan since Zuri, who was exalted. Valygar in particular seems to be fond of Palada, and likes hearing about the Scarred Wastelands and how they were when he lived there. However, Marcus, Quince, Henhowl, Elderberry and all the other Tundras in the clan seem a bit nervous around Palada, as they are not fond of Plague dragons, even if they had admittedly liked Octavia the Plague Coatl before she left to go back to the Scarred Wastelands where she claims to properly belong in. Palada keeps a Strangler with him to make him feel like he’s back in the Scarred Wastelands again, as a dragon in his former clan had one.

Aside from Valygar, nobody seemed to really understand Palada. Well, except for the Chieftain’s daughter, Yeera. Despite being a cocky and energetic dragon, Yeera felt a deep sympathy for the young spiral. This was because although she would never be in a situation like Palada, and was the daughter of the Chieftain, she felt that he should be treated like anyone else in the Clan. Whenever she spoke to him, she was quiet and sensible, contrary to how she usually acts whenever talking to anyone else. Strangely, this sympathy turned into love, as Yeera and Palada eventually fell in love, because they genuinely had feelings for each other, not because they were forced together by their feral instincts and cliches.
