As far as other Ridgeback dragons, her motto was that of The Highlander - 'There can be only one.' Moonshine wasn't very fond of anyone, with the possible exception of her familiar, until she happened upon a young male delicately colored in iris, mist and mint. Now she is confused because that Ridgeback is three colors that Emberglo, the lair spirit, wanted in her dragons. Such confusion abounds! (Not only that but she was once a Spiral and he copied her change from Spiral to Ridgeback!)

She doesn't want another mate ever. She is very very particular because she likes her space around her and prefers her weyr extremely dark and quiet.

Perhaps,
if you ask her,
and she's in a very good (for her) mood,
she will tell you she was named after her glowing yellow eyes, which were more visible when she was a Spiral. But she can still stare down many dragons with her yellow glare. She had this mandala made in honor of her Light eyes.

She changed her genes to skink, spinner and smirch to suit her status as the rear guard of Moonlit Nyyt Weyr. She also keeps watch - from afar - over the nursery. She will not, under any circumstances, talk baby talk but she is serious about guarding them - especially from ending up Unnamed as many of her hatchlings are nameless. She has many disguises so she keeps this image around to remind dragons of her genes.

Moonshine is the first child of two exalted six digit Spirals, who are now serving the Lightweaver. They are confused about their daughter's allegiance to Shadowbinder but proud of her sincerity to her chosen weyr.
