BIOGRAPHY


XXXLylarylyn, better known as Lyla, is a sweet, kind-hearted, and open-minded dragon with a love for plants. She has always had a fascination with flowers, ever since she was a hatchling. Born in the Viridian Labyrinth has given her a chance to experience many different types of lovely plants and flowers in their natural habitats. Her love of nature meant it was difficult to wrestle her inside the Hatchery, and later on the Academy, as she always preferred being outside. That isn’t to say she was a bad student. Lyla is intelligent - her mother is a Librarian after all! She just has difficulty focusing on her studies when she’d much rather be outdoors, checking on that batch of mushrooms she found growing in a fairy ring outside her home!

XXXWhen Celosia asked Lyla if she would be interested in helping her cultivate and take care of the Coven’s garden after she graduated from the Academy, Lyla jumped at the chance to do so. Today, she lives in a hut next to the garden and checks on it night and day. Lyla loves being able to help grow all sorts of plants, flowers, and herbs for various purposes and providing her Covenmates with whatever it is they need, be it food or medicinal in nature.

XXXLyla is very close to her brothers. She was actually the one who suggested to Wenonna that she leave the Coven and go on a journey, as Lyla knew her sister needed to get away and figure things out for herself. When Wennonna came back as Wesmoteus, Lyla was the first to welcome her new brother back with open arms. She’d always had a hunch that there was something different about her sister and wasn’t surprised when she came back as a he. Today, the three siblings will often get together at festivals or Coven celebrations to catch up and chat about what’s going on in their lives.

XXXHodgepodge is Lylarylyn’s Hedgehog Familiar. She found him rooting around in the garden one day and immediately thought he was eating her plants, but it turned out he was actually eating the bugs that were eating her plants! Lyla realized it would actually be beneficial to have the tiny creature around, so she asked if Hodgepodge would like to stay. The Hedgehog agreed, as long as he continued to be well fed. He hasn’t left yet, which must mean Lyla is feeding him just the right amount!
