 BIOGRAPHY XXXIliarah was born in the Viridian Labyrinth to parents who saw exaltation as the ultimate achievement in life for their children. From the moment she was hatched, her parents drilled into Iliarah and her siblings that they would all one day exalt themselves to the deities. Today, all of Iliarah's siblings have exalted themselves to various deities, as they were told to do by their parents. However, despite her upbringing, Iliarah did not want to exalt herself. So she ran away from home. She couldn't stand her parents pestering her all of the time about when she was going to exalt herself like all of her siblings. If they wanted someone to exalt themselves, why didn't they do it? XXXIt didn't take Iliarah long to find the Calyx Coven. Her mate, Bernathazar, was already living in the Coven at the time. As he was the only Spiral in the Coven at the time, Iliarah was drawn to him. The two were immediate friends, but it took them a while to get around to becoming mates. Iliarah was always talking about leaving and continuing to run from her parents, to try to find somewhere further away to live. But she never left, and now Calyx Coven is her home. She is beyond happy with her mate and their three children – Lylarylyn, Xannerius, and Wesmoteus. XXXIliarah is constantly talking, whether to others or herself. She enjoys going for spiraling flights through the Coven territory with Bernathazar and loves her job as a Librarian immensely. She is typically the one who cleans up after patrons who have left books out, as it keeps her busy. She is thoughtful, sweet, and the sort of dragon who notices when someone needs a hug or to talk about something that’s bothering them. She is good friends with Unusu because the Pearlcatcher understands why she ran away from home and didn't want to exalt herself, as the same happened to her. XXXWhen her daughter Wennona returned from a long journey and said she was now a he, and his name was Wesmoteus, Iliarah was relieved. She was so happy to have her child back safe and sound after so long. Iliarah and Wesmoteus had a long discussion about what had occurred during Wes's journey of discovery. When Wes confessed he had been nervous to return, Iliarah told him he was being ridiculous. Nobody would think less of her son, and if they did they would have her to answer to! XXXWoody is Iliarah’s Wood Ear Deer Familiar. She found him wandering the Calyx Coven’s territory, lost and confused. The secluded dryad’s grove that he had been protecting had been destroyed. With the grove gone, Woody didn’t know what to do so he had wandered and got lost. Iliarah asked if he would like to stay with her and her family, as they would take care of him and help him find purpose in life again. Now, Woody helps protect Celosia’s garden on the Coven’s territory. Iliarah will occasionally find him in the garden and read to him from one of the library books. |
