Biography
An unusual Plague wildclaw who believes that adversity is the key to growing strong, but that all should have that chance to grow. She definitely believes more of the "Survival of the Fittest" mentality common to Plague dragons, however, and encourages those of Creakwood to be the best they can be. |
A multitude of red eyes bored into the fallen wildclaw, pinning him in place effortlessly. She tilted her head to the side ever so slightly, letting one sickle-claw tap a rhythm on the darkened earth. "You conceed?" The wildclaw's lips curled up slightly, but he nodded. "Good. You and your pack will join me." "What?" "You heard me. I won. You lost. Thus, you listen to me." Achlys stared up at the many-eyed wildclaw as they held a hand out. He hesitated, but ultimately took the hand and allowed them to help him up. "Al...right. It's your decision..." he said warily. "It is indeed." The slight smile was somewhat... unnerving. Perhaps more-so than the piercing red eyes and haze of toxin rolling off her body... "My pack is settling here. I would like for yours to as well. This place is clearly home to a mix of Plague and Nature magics, and I think the only way to truly make the best use of it is to have both represented in it's inhabitants. One cannot become truly strong without adversity, and I think this place would be a good place to nurture that strength in others. However, I am a Plague wildclaw, and that makes me suspect to many. I do, in fact, need your help to accomplish this, Achlys... Will you help?" |

Subspecies Information
Effluvial Crow: Jackdaws
Jackdaws, also abbreviated as simply “Jacks” or even “Daws,” are often descendants of the Crow family in one manner or another. Their mixed bloodlines have carried some of the Crow’s more defining genetic traits all the way through to contemporary Sornieth. (Note: Canonically, Neith is a Magpie, but her adaptations mean she appears to be a Jackdaw and is registered as such within the subspecies) |
Viral Signature: Pestilent Priest
Latent Trait: Stamina Surge
Latent Trait: Viral Immunity (High)
Latent Trait: High Potential
A sinister ability disguised as a healing spell. When used on ordinary, clean wounds it will mend flesh and bone as quick as a flash. However, if used on any traces of infection type such as those from bacteria, viruses or of fungal original--the disease will react and suddenly worsen. Beneath the surface, the Deviant Crow’s “magic” duplicates the original contagion to obscene levels.
Latent Trait: Stamina Surge
Stamina Surge allows one to persist again and again, gaining a second wind once having seemingly fallen in battle. If this individual is given the time to rest and recover, they most certainly will before their opponents do.
Latent Trait: Viral Immunity (High)
A sign of Neith's Effluvial Heritage, It makes them immune to all manners of maladies and infection alike. Nothing short of depths of the Wyrmwound itself is going to likely have a hold over them.
Latent Trait: High Potential
So long as these individuals survive the early stages of life and past their no doubt tumultuous adolescence, they are quite sure to thrive. They carry with them a high potential that only becomes greater with time--promising them places somewhere along the top--as long as they can effectively cultivate their strengths and cull their weaknesses.
