Danou

Danou's family is one of the most influential and authoritative in the clan. The first real family group after the great shift, they are treated as a sort of elite within the larger clan.

As the only XXY mirror, Danou is the prize of her clutch. This put a lot of pressure on her growing up, and has warped her slightly into being a bit aloof and distanced from people. She loosens up once she get's into it, though. Danou is particularly close to her parents, and not exactly as adventurous as her siblings.

She likes strange plants and sitting at the very top of tall trees.

Danou was quite often annoyed by her twin brothers, and could often be seen trying to run away from them (quite easy given their desire to be in constant physical contact with each other). These days she is still a bit twitchy.

Her mate Keleya came from a clan in the Shadow lands and they formed a fast relationship based on mutual delight and some quick romancing. Danou was not particularly invested in the 'family' ideal and has less of a bond with the rest of the clan than her siblings.
Danou used to be more attached to the idea of starting her own loving family and rearing children, but after all but one of her hatchlings to the raging forces of the Shadowbinder, she closed herself off to the idea and had become more distant.
She has never recovered from the trauma of the sudden loss, and it has made her rather estranged from her only remaining child.
