Biography

Chamomile has always had a knack for calming people down, she's known this from the very beginning. Her father was the closest thing her home clan had to a therapist, soothing nightmares from victims suffering from flashbacks or even just regular night terrors. She had taken interest in this help right away, and often accompanied him on his work trips.

It was on one of this work trips that she discovered a power of her own. Her father was having a rough time getting a hatchling to sleep, for the nightmares had gotten so bad before he arrived that it made the poor thing quite the insomniac. With one soothing touch the hatchling had fallen asleep happily in her lap, which allowed her father to begin his work to ensure that all nights could be such a restful sleep.

From that moment on, Chamomile knew what she wanted to do. She would help dragons suffering with sleeping problems, or any problems at all, really. Lending an ear to listen, or offering comfort in dark times. She combined her love of helping people with an interest she had also been fostering since hatchlinghood, which was that of gardening and specifically flowers. Using the calming smells of her favorites, Chamomile became known as an aromatherapist somnologist.

Despite her abilities to bring peace to many other dragons, or perhaps because of it, Chamomile has been known to slip into bouts of depression. While she is incredibly good at helping others, she tends to forget to take care of herself. She tries to remain as optimistic as possible, even through the dark places her mind might bring, though there are days when other dragons have to step in to help her.

Yet she wears a smile on her face always, and never lacks kind words or a helping hand. She is as incredibly sweet as vanilla cake, one of her favorite smells, for that is the scent that always hung around her mother's den.

Overall, Chamomile is a wonderful dragon to be around. You will always find a comforting friend within her, and you'll never see her frown.
