Rosequartz

Rosequartz got lost from his parents when he was barely a hatchling, he roamed through the Starfall Isles for what felt like an eternity, with time and a lot of mishaps and dangerous situations he learned to live by himself and as time passed by, life for him got steadily better, he learned how to hunt and defend himself and found home in the beauty and peace of the Starwood Strands.

Despite the complications when communicating with Faes he made many friends with the tiny dragons that populate the Starwoods and with them he learned about the science of the skies and found himself absolutely entralled by the study of the universe. Because of his passion towards astronomy he also became a great admirer of the Arcanist and also a great devotee.

Starbound, the clan learder, was one of the many Faes that he befriended in the Starfall Isles and the first one that invited him to his clan, he was surprise but also a bit afraid, living alone for so long made him cautious, so he didin't agree at first. But his friend was persistent and he bugged him for months until the Imperial gave up and accepted.

After joining the Fallen Stars clan he met Procyon, the clan's young merchant, they became fast friends and Rosequartz even joined some of Procyon's travels through Sornieth, not because he liked traveling - actually he tried to avoid it if possible, having many bad memories from his younger years - but just because he wanted to pass time with him. After some time he found himself slowly but unavoidably falling for his best friend. For almost two years wondered if he should say something or not, fearing his friend would reject him or even worse, start avoiding him if somehow he discovered.

One night, for his surprise and delight though, at the eve of their third Starfall Celebration together, Procyon smacked him by the head and asked when in the name of all the deities he would grow a spine and tell him how he felt. In that very day they started dating.

However their happiness was not meant to last, not yet at least, things took a dark turn for only one year later Procyon and his caravan simply vanished from the face of Sornieth after one of his travels to the Tangled Woods. Rosequartz together with other dragons led by Bellize went in his search, but all they found was their abandoned goods, not even a single dragon in sight. They still kept going for months after that, until only Rose and Bellize were left trying. They would never had stopped if Starbound himself didn't went there and dragged them back to the clan, he was as devastated as them with his loss - Procyon was pratically his adopted son - but they were searching non-stop for almost a year, they needed to stop.

Rosequartz, as expected didn't take his orders well, he raged and trashed and almost destroyed part of the town in his rampage, being a gigantic Imperial not helping in the least. Bellize had to restrain him and as a way to stop his raging fit Starbound spelled Rose into a Fae, his form shrinking and his rage simmering to a bottomless grief.

The former Imperial was send to the Shrine in order to be taken care of by the priests of the clan and there he ended up staying. Starbound offered to change him back, but he declined, as an Imperial his grief was so easily turned into rage, but as a Fae it was just that, grief and he preferred that. He started dedicating his time solely into praying, he prayed to the Arcanist everyday to take care of Procyon and if he was still alive, to bring him back to him, somehow, someday. His affinity with Arcane magic grew as did his dedication and faith to the Arcanist and without meaning to he officially became the Arcane Representative of the Shrine.

His curious and bubbly personality dimmed to almost nothing and since he turned into a Fae he couldn't and didn't knew how to express himself like he did before, making him even more recluse and depressed, focusing solely on his prayings, losing some friends that couldn't understand what he was going through and forging even stronger bonds from the few friends that could.

Despite the never ending pain and sadness that hovers his heart and mind, he hopes, he hopes with all his heart that one day Procyon will come back to him.
