Echo used to live deep down in the icy ocean for a very long time. She was left behind by her former clan because she seemed frozen, unfeeling and cold, and was never able to express her feelings properly. Therefore, she unintentionally caused a lot of harm to others.
Abandoned and lonely she filled the sea with her beautiful voice and kept singing, humming and whispering, while promising herself to never voice a word to any dragon again.

One day she felt strong magic vibes and noticed an impressive Imperial standing quite close to her, on top of a frozen ice floe. Atlantis irritated her - she usually was cautious enough to not be discovered by anyone, and he came back to her every single day, observing her with an unmoving gaze, without saying a single word. No matter how often she ignored him, he kept coming back. One day, after he had left, Echo secretly followed him and found her way to the Hidden Sanctum. Atlantis spoke to her for the first time, with a calm, abyssal voice and offered the position of a Warden to her.
For some reasons she felt a deep devotion towards Atlantis and his words evoked the unexpected desire to talk to other dragons again and finally find a way to not be misheard and misunderstood. Since then, she has gone through a great change and turned into a mighty Warden of the Hidden Sanctum.
