» Europa is a researcher from an Arcane university, spending about 20% of her time there working on her studies and 80% of her time in Winterhome, researching the Southern Skies. She likes the remoteness and clarity of the skies around Winterhome, which is why she often returns for her research.

» She has constructed a large telescope in the tower of the renovated fortress for better viewing. The walls of this telescope room are covered in star charts, maps of the skies, calendars, and chalkboards covered in math and physics equations. She and her apprentice spend most of their time working in this room, although they occasionally come out to the inn to socialize with the others in the sanctuary.

» She's not overly fond of the lighthouse for obstructing her sight, but Ion humors her and turns it off briefly on occasion.

» Her mate, Ikelos, knows absolutely nothing about science, but his intuition fascinates her, as does his uncanny ability to find objects she's misplaced.
