Glacier is originally from the edges of The Starfall Isles, very close to The Southern Ice Field. His mother was a famous historian and his father was a famous scribe. All his life they had large expectations of him and his siblings, to follow in their footsteps. They wanted each of her children to have an intellectually stimulating career, safe inside the walls of the libraries and observatories of the Starfall Isles.

Glacier's eldest sister Jasmine, was highly skilled in the art of mentoring others. Her photographic memory and calm temperament meant she was very good at transferring her knowledge and skills to the hatchlings of The Starfall Isles.

His younger sister, Rania, followed in her mothers footsteps and was an extremely skilled historian. She spent many days assisting her mother during her youth and quickly climbed to the top of her field, being one of the youngest dragons to be allowed to review some of the Archanist's newest work.

His final sibling, a Tundra named Odiz, was not quite as bright as his sisters. However, his skill for identifying constellations and identifying new stars and planets was unparalleled. He was quickly given a high position within the observatory as an astronomer. All of his siblings had followed his parents expectations and made them extremely proud. But, Glacier's heart did not lead him into their expected career.

From a young age he had been quick with his hands and a vast imagination. He was skilled at needlework and designing new outfits and he knew from a young age that he wanted to be a tailor. His parents, whilst confused, tried to be supportive of his career choice, but, he knew in his heart that he did not belong in The Starfall Isles, so he set off on his own journey.

His first stop was ironically his last stop as well. He headed south, to the Southern Ice Field, and stopped at a little inn called The Black Frost Inn. Once inside he started charting his journey when he was struck by the beauty of the chef, Ellana. The way she flitted and danced around the kitchen left him awestruck. He instantly knew that he had to stay here. He immediately went to the innkeepers owner, Frostbite and inquired about a tailors position within the inn.

Frostbite knew that having a tailor could bring more business to the inn, so he accepted. From that point onward, Glacier has been a valued member of the inn. His multiple interactions with travellers has allowed him to learn about a variety of new styles and fabrics, so his creativity has blossomed. Whilst not what he expected, he's never been happier with his life and he cannot wait to see what adventures (or adventurers) come next!
