Biography
Snapjaw Clan Enforcer Status: Alive Quiet | Passive | Sadistic | Brutal | Co-Dependant Breakspine and Snapjaw have always been together since their birth. Rumor has it that they hatched from the same egg. The two brothers often finish each others' sentences. They claim to be able to read each others' thoughts and emotions. They share food, a bed, and even a mate. Breakspine cannot bear the thought of life without his brother - and Snapjaw feels the same way. Before coming to the Workshop, the two brothers worked as arena fighters. In the arena, they called themselves 'the Butcher Brothers' and they were famous for the sheer brutality of their tactics. Their strength, size, and flawless teamwork made them especially deadly. They delighted in the carnage and spectacle of the arena. However, their career as fighters came to an abrupt end when Snapjaw was severely injured during a match. Snapjaw was always the smaller of the two brothers. Breakspine felt that it was his duty to protect his "little" brother. Snapjaw's throat was cut by an opponent's blade and he nearly bled out there in the arena. Breakspine flew into a mad rage and murdered their opponent before he rushed to his brother's aid. Snapjaw's life was saved, but at a great cost. Breakspine, unable to bear the thought of losing his brother, decided then and there that the Butcher Brothers needed to retire. After their arena careers ended, the two brothers tried their luck as mercenaries. Unfortunately, they struggled because they always prioritized each other over their clients. After some years of difficulty, they received a mysterious letter from a former fan. The fan expressed her admiration for the brothers' brutality and violence. She had the perfect job for them, if they wanted it. The brothers leapt at the opportunity. They now serve as Grimoire's chief enforcers. and overseers. Side by side, they monitor and discipline the slaves of the Workshop. They ensure that the slaves remain docile and obedient - too weak and fragmented to stir up a rebellion. Snapjaw and Breakspine do not shy away from brutal, cruel methods of control. They crack their whips and beat their slaves into submission. The Workshop slaves live in constant fear of drawing the Butcher Brothers' attention. Physically, Snapjaw is smaller - though not by much. The two are still among the most massive dragons in the Workshop. Some might tell you that Snapjaw is the quieter and more passive of the two. Breakspine is undoubtedly the "leader" between them. Breakspine does most of the talking while Snapjaw is often silent (mostly due to his throat injury). However, it is important not to mistake Snapjaw's quietness for timidity, thoughtfulness, or intelligence. Snapjaw is just as sadistic as his brother - and he isn't afraid to get creative while torturing. |
